Born and brought up in New Delhi, Seema Singh Dua was always inclined towards art as a subject. With commercial art as a major in high school, to textile designing at under grad level and a shift to the medium of sculpture for the last fifteen years. The transition from clay to fiber resin to bronze has been gradual with now a comfort in working with medium like wood, stained glass, mild steel, stainless steel, which can be frequently seen in form of mixed media in her works. Her art takes a form as an expression of the phase of life she is going through, a journey within, so to say. A series could be depicting relationship, nature connect, power of nurturing, the joy of reading, spiritual or religious journey too at times.

Over the years Seema's sculptures have been selected at various national level art exhibits at prestigious institutes like Lalit Kala Akademi, AIFACS, Hyderabad Art Society and ArtScapes in Chandigarh.  She has also been a recipient of an award at the national level at AIFACS and one of her works has been selected for a museum at Nirman Bhavan. Seema also received the award of "Artist of the Year"at the Delhi International Film Festival in 2014 and her works can be seen with art collectors in India, USA, Singapore and UAE.
